There was an informal opening ceremony of the new building on 18 September, 2008.Mr Nikorn Chan-ampai, Thapput District Chief, was kindly presiding over the event and a number of college committee attending the incident.
After the religious session, Manora dance was performed by a group of students from Thapput Wittaya School as a blessing. Later, lunch was served courteously.
